 MFR is an amazing modality that releases fascial tension.  I can come home from a session of having my fascial tension released and need to soak in epsom salts to prevent soreness as my body adapts to an improved position.  So amazing, painless hands on therapy that can release body misalignment and strains! My neck pain from a broken facet has improved a lot after seeing Melanie on a regular basis.

I will gladly tell anyone who will listen that my husband and I love our sessions with Melanie for MFR treatments! It’s not a kneading type of massage, but almost a “laying on of hands” that is so very therapeutic! After a visit with her we leave her completely renewed!  Each of us is jealous of the other when one of us has an appointment so we are there regularly…problem is that she has other patients!

 Melanie is amazing.  I have been going to chiropractors and physical therapists for decades.  I have also had 8 orthopedic surgeries on my feet and left knee.  She saw structural issues that none of the other professionals ever saw or treated.  I feel so much better after working with her.  I wish that I had started working with her many years earlier!  Thank you!!! 

Melanie is a healer! I have been going to her for almost 8 years and she has been with me through 4 pregnancies. Her background in science and knowledge of the human body informs her healing. She is also blessed with a calming, kind, and healing hands and presence. I have suffered some serious health issues in the past 3 years that I never could have imagined. Malignant Melanoma,  near death hospital stay from Covid, a blown out knee that was somehow unexplainable, and now a brain tumor. My lymphatic system was butchered in the attempt to remove the cancer from my body. 

This ordeal and Lymphoma left me swollen like the Michelin man, and depressed. I thought my life was over for all intent and purposes. Desperation led me to Melanie King. She came highly recommended from my wife, but I must admit that I still to this day do not fully comprehend what she does and what is myofascial release? It's incomprehensible to me. I just know that it made my swelling all but disappear, and my life return to as normal as could be hoped for.  I have affectionately privately nicknamed her the “witchdoctor” since I don’t understand it all, I just know it works! 

In one of my first few visits with her, she asked for my history of ailments, and within 20 minutes she explained to me what had happened to my knee, and how it blew out. It was a eureka moment of epic proportions, as of course it all finally made sense. I asked her, how was it that she could tell me what 7 other medical professionals and doctors had failed to figure out, and was she some kind of clairvoyant genius. She modestly replied no, she just knew from years of experience how to listen. She found a lifelong admirer in me, in that moment.

I am now a regular monthly therapy patient. It is obvious that Melanie cares about her clients and genuinely enjoys her work. That in itself makes her better than most, and I am so very grateful for the help she has provided.

PS. She has great therapy pets and gives me great chocolate!
